Kristie Graham - Board Member
Graham began her work in the HIV/AIDS field in 1987 as a volunteer with the Tucson AIDS project. From 1988-1997 she worked as a therapist in private practice assisting HIV/AIDS infected men with aspects of daily living and dying. With the advent of AZT, followed by new anti-retroviral drugs, she watched peoples’ lives change from a diagnosis that meant death to lives full of hope. A peer counselor and board member at Southern Arizona AIDS Project (SAAF) since 1997, Graham continues to work as an advocate with the changing face of HIV/AIDS. Currently she is the president of the board of SAAF, and chair of the SAAF’s development committee. Graham has shared her knowledge as a TAB board member for the past 4 years.
