Sarah Gluckstern - Managing Director
When Sarah was a teenager, she watched Michael D. Palm, one of her family's closest friends, valiantly battle AIDS. When Michael died, it inspired Sarah to battle the disease in her own way, on whatever fronts she could, and ultimately led her to nearly two decades of fighting HIV/AIDS.
With a Master's in Public Health from UC Berkeley, her involvement has included HIV/AIDS testing, counseling, educational outreach, work with clean-syringe exchange programs in the Bay Area and global public policy research.
Upon her return to Telluride, she assumed she was leaving her involvement in the HIV world behind; then TAB entered her life and changed everything. Getting to continue her work with HIV/AIDS while living in such an incredible environment and community is truly a fulfillment of a life dream, and she's looking forward to many more years with this inspiring organization.
