The Telluride AIDS benefit Fashion Show just turned 20, and has raised nearly $2 million dollars for AIDS/HIV related causes all over the world. I wanted to make a short that captured the in-between moments and the emotion of their 20th anniversary. Congrats to everyone involved, and thanks for letting me poke my camera around at the show, what an honor. —Ben
I was given the extraordinary gift of being a part of the 20th Telluride AIDS Benefit Fashion Show. It is an organization born and run out of love. It is an organization that has raised and given about $2million to it's beneficiaries, who range from AIDS Research and Treatment, to those providing social and emotional safe spaces, and span from Colorado to South Africa. And this is the intro for the Student version of the Fashion Show. The beginning of 2013 has been glorious.
This right here - is a theatrical fashion show captured from the perspective of a model on stage. Watch what happens when the models perform to a sold out show - thank you GoPro!
